Mike is a Registered Psychologist
with over 10 years experience working with divorce,
separation, mediation, and high conflict families.
He provides both Court related and non-Court related
supports. For those who prefer not to involve the judiciary,
supports are provided for Mediation, individual counseling
for parents and children, consent Parenting Coordination,
separation coaching, and parenting plan development.
Judicial litigation support involves: Court ordered
parenting coordination, Practice Note 7 assessments, Voice
of Child reports, Guardianship assessments, and preparation
support for Court/Trial and assessments.
Mike is a
specialized Child & Adolescent/Young Adult Psychologist. He
has experience conducting Mental Health, Borderline
Personality Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Custody &
Access assessments, and counselling. He is a certified DBT
therapist, and practices Reality, Narrative, and CBT
paradigms. He is courteous, respectful & open-minded.
Mike worked in the Courtroom and as a Caseflow
Coordinator for Alberta Justice for eight years. He has
taught the Focus on Communication(FOCIS) course and has been
teaching the Parenting After Separation(PAS) course for 13
years. He has a realistic and common sense perspective. d the Canadian Association
