Chrisine began her professional training as a nurse
and qualified in the UK.
Specialising in the care of people with severe mental disability and illness,
she continued to rise rapidly in her chosen field and at the age of 21 was the youngest Ward Sister ever to hold that position in the hospital.
In 1986 she opened a Retirement Home along with her husband, Neil, on the borders of the English Lake District which catered for 17 older people. The Retirement Home and its 25 care-team members went on to win numerous professional awards for the standard and quality of care. Christine played a major role in her contribution and support of Neil in the editing and authoring of of two books on how to manage and establish a Quality Control System in residential care homes and how to perform the daily task of caring for elders in a compassionate and respectful way.
Christine now administers the front desk at the CHWC.
