By design our bodies are self healing; sometimes it  needs a helping hand, or two, to return to optimal health. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Mount Royal, Massage Therapy Program in 2006. Her foundation in clinical treatments was enhanced with 5 years of work with the Rocky Mountain Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre in Canmore – where she benefited from the medical insights of her colleague Physiotherapists and the collaborative approach to client welfare.

In addition to soft tissue injury treatments and post surgical rehab work, her years at the Banff Centre exposed her to a broad range of clients. It was here that her interest in the physical challenges specific to dancers and classical musicians took root. She has lectured at the Banff Centre on the Body as Instrument and run postural analysis clinics for musicians.

In addition to pursuing training in other modalities of body therapy, Elizabeth was an Assistant Instructor for Massage Technique classes at MRU in 2010 and 2011.  She has completed levels 1& 11 in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and firmly believes everyone would benefit from this gentle treatment!  She does hospital visits for new born's who require Cranio treatments. She completed Visceral  Manipulation Abdomen Level 1 with the Barral Institute in 2010 and looks forward to learning more!

She is trained in sport massage, pre and post natal work, myofascial release techniques, trigger point and deep tissue, PNF, and lymphatic drainage.
