Dr. Kate Hadfield is a Naturopathic Doctor who loves to challenge the status quo in women’s health. A rebel at heart, she enjoys examining a health issue, questioning its traditional assumptions and creating a holistic treatment plan in collaboration with her clients.
A graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and the University of Calgary, Dr. Kate deepened her women’s health knowledge with Holistic Pelvic Care™ training in Portland, OR. Passionate about nurturing the connection between physical illness and emotional well-being, she focuses on providing empowered, informed-choice based naturopathic pelvic care.
Dr. Kate's areas of special interest are pelvic floor dysfunction, cervical dysplasia, infertility, PCOS, perinatal mood disorders, pregnancy and postpartum health and pediatrics. This is your first visit with Dr. Kate. She will take a detailed medical history, perform relevant physical exams, discuss possible lab testing, and provide an Individualized Treatment Plan to begin your journey to wellness (Approximately 1 Hour)
Dr. Kate will go over your current treatment plan with you, discuss current symptoms, and make changes as your health improves (Approximately 30 minutes)
This is a short visit to touch base on your current treatment plan, or discuss simple questions that have come up (Approximately 10-15 minutes)
Not yet Dr. Kate’s patient? No worries, she can take care of you! This is a truly different PAP exam experience. Dr. Kate is Your Pelvic Floor ND. She will provide valuable information on how and why your body functions the way it does.
Relax in a private, elegant treatment room with cloth sheets, pillows, and NO “stirrups.” Dr. Kate works with you to educate you about your body and empower you with choice. Consent is explicit every step of the way. (An out of pocket $45 supplies fee that is not covered by health insurance plans will be added to your final total. $155 Visit Fee is covered by health insurance).
This is a truly different PAP exam experience for Dr. Kate’s current patients. Your Pelvic Floor ND will provide valuable information on how and why your body functions the way it does. A private, elegant treatment room with cloth sheets, pillows, and NO “stirrups.”
Dr. Kate works with you to educate you about your body and empower you with choice. Consent is explicit every step of the way. (An out of pocket $40 supplies fee that is not covered by health insurance plans will be added to your final total. The $95 Visit Fee is covered by health insurance).
This initial naturopathic visit is for patients new to Dr. Kate looking for comprehensive Naturopathic Care focused on Pelvic Floor Health. The visit is approximately 1.5 hours. Dr. Kate will discuss your pelvic and menstrual health history, and perform relevant exams in a safe, relaxing environment. (This visit is covered by health insurance plans)
During this visit Dr. Kate will perform manual therapy, relevant physical exams, and education to empower you to improve the function of your pelvic floor. (This visit is covered by health insurance plans).
This is a longer follow-up appointment for a more in-depth discussion on your current health concerns, to answer several questions, and to plan for future wellness (Approximately 45 minutes)
