First, you will have your 1 - hour Initial Naturopathic Visit where Dr. Dawne will go over your complete health history in detail. She will make a plan to address your most acute health concerns and get you started on the path to wellness.
Next, Shannon, the nurse practitioner, will review Dr. Dawne’s referral and order any remaining bloodwork necessary. (Bloodwork is covered by Alberta Health, except for some specialized testing, like Vitamin D levels). Then Shannon will review your bloodwork results with you via TeleMedicine and prescribe individualized dosages of Bioidentical Hormones designed to optimize your hormone levels.

Shannon completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Western Ontario before returning to Northern Ontario to practice in a broad range of clinical contexts. She completed a Masters of Nursing in Advanced Nursing Practice through Athabasca University and holds her Nurse Practitioner licence in Ontario and Alberta with a Primary Health Care specialty certificate. She has completed a broad range of professional development related to Concussion, Sports Medicine, Botox for Migraines and Hormone Replacement.
